Montanari & Gruzza was established in 1950 in a village between the towns of Parma and Reggio Emilia.
Still today the firm is managed by founding partners’ families. Since the beginning of its history, company’s core business has been the selection of local milk to make butter and Parmigiano Reggiano.
Today we make our own organic line thanks to our breeding farm and dairy both located in the hills above Parma; furthermore we have been creating throughout the years dedicated supply chains in cooperation with local farmers employing fresh milk and cream to offer a highly diversified range of Italian premium butter and Parmigiano Reggiano made above all of specialities: organic Parmigiano Reggiano “Mountain Product”, as well as Red Cows, Brown Cows and White Parmigiano Reggiano. We also handle both their long aging time and we pack them to make precious and unique creations.
